About DNSDeets

DNSDeets is a free domain security scanner: one scan covers email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MTA-STS), DNS hygiene, TLS, HTTP security headers, and registration health. You get a score out of 100 where every deducted point is itemized and explained.

Two principles drive the design:

• Never show a value we didn't observe. If a check couldn't run, the report says "not assessed" and deducts nothing. No guesses, no fabricated data.
• Explain everything twice. Every finding has a plain-English explanation for owners and full technical detail for admins and MSPs.

Built and run by Dyve Technology, a technology consultancy for small businesses. The scanner is free and the API is open.
